Wildfires in southern Europe destroy forests at scale while a start-up company is in a hurry to built an innovative fire fighting aircraft. A ship with thousands of cars is burning in the North Sea while the automotive industry is starting to embrace CFD to mitigate battery thermal runaway. Machine Learning exercises are flooding the just freed-up GPUs from bitcoin mining while CFD codes start running productively on exactly those GPUs. ChatGPT is turning the world (of coding) upside down while Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) codes are developing at a yet unseen pace.
